We want lillysfreshpasta.com to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard rather than a mouse, magnification, or captions.
What we are aiming for
We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard most commonly referenced in US accessibility law, and it is the one we measure ourselves against.
We are not fully there yet. This page says where we are honestly rather than claiming more than we have earned.
What works today
The site can be navigated with a keyboard
Headings are in a logical order, so screen reader users can move through a page by structure
The site reflows for small screens and magnified displays
The chat assistant is announced properly to screen readers, its controls are labelled, and new replies are read out as they arrive
Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working through them:
Some images do not yet have alternative text, so their content is not conveyed to screen reader users
One or two buttons do not yet meet the contrast ratio the standard requires
Some pages carry more imagery than they need, which makes them slow on a poor connection
If you hit something not on this list, we would like to know — it means we have missed it.

A note on the chat assistant
The assistant on this site is automated software, not a person. If you would rather deal with someone directly — for any reason, including accessibility — call or email us using the details above. You will not get a worse answer that way. For allergen, food safety and certification questions you will get a better one, because those always go to a person regardless.
