This policy explains what personal information Lilly’s Gastronomia Italiana, Inc. (“Lilly’s Fresh Pasta”, “we”, “us”) collects through lillysfreshpasta.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

We are a wholesale fresh pasta manufacturer. This website exists to help foodservice operators, distributors and retail buyers find our products and reach our sales team. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising on this site.

Information you give us

You only give us information when you choose to — by filling in a form or by talking to the assistant on our site. Depending on which one you use, that can include:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your business or company name
  • Your location, state or ZIP code
  • Your business type, approximate order volume, number of locations, and which products interest you
  • Your current distributor, where you tell us
  • The text of the question or message you send us

If you contact us about a product safety or allergen concern, we may also ask for the product name, lot or date code, where it was purchased, and a description of what happened. We ask for this so the right people can look into it properly.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records some technical information when you visit:

  • Your IP address
  • Your browser type, device type and operating system
  • The pages you viewed and how long you spent on them
  • The site or search that referred you to us
  • The date and time of your visit

This comes from our hosting provider’s server logs and from Google Analytics. See our Cookie Notice for what is set in your browser and how to turn it off.

The website assistant

The chat assistant on this site is automated software, not a member of our staff. It answers routine questions about our products from our own product data, and passes anything else to a person.

Two things about it are worth knowing:

  • Your questions are sent to third parties to produce a reply. When the assistant cannot answer from our own product data, the text of your message is sent to Anthropic PBC, which operates the Claude AI service, by way of a service we run on Cloudflare. Only the text of your question is sent. Your name, email and phone number are not.
  • Questions are logged. Messages sent to the assistant are recorded in our Cloudflare account so we can see what people ask and where the assistant falls short. These logs are retained by Cloudflare and are accessible to us.

If you would rather not have your question handled this way, email or call us directly using the details above.

Please do not use the assistant to send us sensitive personal information — payment card details, government identification numbers, or health information. It is not built to receive them.

Why we use your information

  • To answer your question or respond to your enquiry
  • To have the right member of our sales team contact you
  • To investigate and respond to product quality or safety reports
  • To understand which parts of our site are useful and improve them
  • To keep the site secure and working
  • To meet our legal and food safety record-keeping obligations

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

  • HubSpot, Inc. — our customer relationship system. Enquiries submitted through this site are stored there so our sales team can follow up.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — runs the service behind the website assistant and stores its logs.
  • Anthropic PBC — receives the text of assistant questions in order to generate a reply.
  • Google LLC — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, for website measurement.
  • WP Engine, Inc. — hosts this website and holds its server logs.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, or where we need to in order to protect our rights, our customers, or the safety of anyone affected by a product issue.

How long we keep it

We keep sales enquiries for as long as we have an active or prospective business relationship with you, and afterwards only as long as we need to for legal and accounting purposes. Records relating to a product safety report are kept for as long as our food safety obligations require. Website analytics are retained on Google’s standard retention schedule. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.

Your choices and rights

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop contacting you

Depending on where you live, you may have these as legal rights — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the privacy laws of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other US states, and, if you are in the UK or European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR. Where those laws apply, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy of your data in a portable form, and to appeal a decision we make about your request.

To exercise any of this, email sales@lillysfreshpasta.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, or write to us at the address above. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies and tracking

See our Cookie Notice. Your browser also lets you refuse cookies, and most browsers now offer a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour where the law requires it.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, in line with Massachusetts data security regulations. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This is a wholesale business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where your information is held

We are based in the United States and our service providers store information in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed there.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be flagged on the page.

Questions or complaints

Email sales@lillysfreshpasta.com or call 603.818.2100. If you are in the UK or EEA and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
